We all know to drink more water....the benefits are crystal clear. So are you doing it? Are you

drinking half your bodyweight in ounces?

Well, I am finding I go through periods of time when I am bored of water. Sounds strange but I bet I am not alone so... my tip today is about how I get out of the water rut. Here are a few ideas:

For cleansing, I put cilantro or parsley in my big glass jug, fill it with our clean Mt Shasta water (any filtered water will do), and put it in the fridge. People! It’s delicious, refreshing, and SO good for you.

For flavor, I fill the jar with water, then add blackberries, mint, lemon, cucumber, or

basically any combo of what herbs/fruit I have around.

For ease (or I’m extremely low on produce), just add a few drops of essential oils in your filtered water. Lemon and grapefruit are my favorite!

You don’t have to make this difficult, try a batch and see if it’s too strong or weak to your liking, then modify. It takes about 12 hours in the fridge to infuse and it keeps for about a week.

AGAIN, aim for half your body weight in ounces, not to exceed 100 ounces. If you are drinking diuretic liquids (coffee, tea, alcohol, juice, soda), add 10-12 more ounces of water for every 8 ounces of the diuretic drink.
